Brahmatal Trek

ब्रह्मताल ट्रेक (Brahmatal Trek) Itinerary

Brahmatal trek is usually organized in 6-7 days but the duration of the trip may change depending on the suitability of your traveler and the weather. Following is a simple trek itinerary that will give you the complete experience of Brahmatal trek:

Day 1: Lohjung to Kopan Nagal 

• In the morning start trekking from Lohjung towards Kopan Nagal.
• You’ll find a comfortable camping spot to spend the night in your tent or bed.

Day 2:  Kopaon Nagal to Chitrakant Base Camp

• Today’s target is Chitrakanth Base Camp, which is about 7-8 kilometers away.
• You have to pass through trees and potato fields.

Day 3: Chitrakant Base Camp to Brahmatal

• Your objective today is to reach Brahmatal, which is at a distance of about 6-7 kilometers.
• The day spends a large part of the day on snowy terrain, so if the weather is cold, wear appropriate clothing and trek safely.

Day 4: Brahmatal to Brahmatal Lake

• On this day you will reach Brahmatal Lake, which is full of natural beauty.
• Camp by the lake and enjoy it.

Day 5: Brahmatal Lake to Dholabata

• On this day you have to trek towards Dholabata, which is at a distance of about 5-6 kilometers.

Day 6: Dholabata to Lohajung

• Today you plan to return to Lohjung, where your trek will end.
• After reaching Lohjung, spend the night and share your journey.

Day 7: Lohajung to Kathgodam

• Today you have to end your trek by traveling from Lohjung to Kathgodam.
